Cologne is one of Europe’s gayest cities – and it’s pride parade, like the one in Berlin, is known as the ‘Christopher Street Day’. Cologne Pride is one of the biggest in Europe – with between three-quarters and one million people attending. There’s a big street festival on the Friday, and lots of stages with all sorts of entertainment going on over the entire weekend.
