Event Description:

~~ TuTTi BaNaNa ~*~~The debut album from Squeakeasy is ready to be let loose!

Squeakeasy are a band from Egham underneath the new Travelodge.
Squeakeasy is the brain-child of multi-instrumentalist Daniel Howard and is brought to life with the help of Laura Norman, Matt Cooper and Sarah Hughes.

The songs are noisy and poppy and have lots of different words and sounds and bits. Guaranteed sexy tuttifrutti jams.
Sounds confused, but believe and let Squeakeasy take control of your heart.

‘TUTTI BANANA’ features guest appearances from members of Joanna Gruesome and Trust Fund.

The album will be released on the 20th May as a Cassette and download with duo-tone riso printed cover, hand drawn by the band.

As a celebration of the release Squeakeasy will be holding a release party at Bethnal Green’s Working Mens club on the 20th May where copies of the album will be availble to buy!

WITH SUPPORT FROM:

Two white cranes:
Roxy Brennan has been writing and singing songs for 10 years in her home town of Bristol. As Two White Cranes she performs intimate folk with loud bits and quiet bits both solo and with friends. Her songs seem to all be about loving someone or something. Two White Cranes refers to the two white construction cranes she walks beneath every morning and evening on her way to and from work. She also currently plays with the bands Joanna Gruesome, Grubs and Trust Fund (Turnstile).

CRANDLE:
CRANDLE make the kind of sound you might hear in the background at the Double-R Diner. Going for that old Cambodian home-cassette vibe, they mostly play cover versions of forgotten songs on a home organ and a drum machine from the late ‘70s. Named after a man with a salamander hand off the X-Files, they invite you to believe.

Ultimate Guitar Tab:
Lady Neptune ventures into surreal Jetsons inspired musical theatre with Rachel Horwood (Trash Kit, Bamboo) + Rosie Ridgway (Ravioli Me Away, Not Sorry, Winnie the Poof) for wings . You have heard nothing like it. Ultimate Guitar Tab cannot be held responsible for you failing to learn how to play your favourite One Direction songs.
