Haulover Beach (clothing-optional)

Beautiful white sand beach with lifeguards, chairs and umbrellas to rent, for truck and ice cream! Very comfortable with so many naturalists!! Definitely making another visit!!

Haulover Beach is one of a kind. The sand is soft, the waves were flowing strong, and it’s an amazing place to relax and enjoy the ocean. The clothing-optional area is well-maintained, clean, and welcoming — with lifeguards on duty, showers, concessions, and rentals available. Even though the water isn’t crystal clear, the overall vibe and energy of the beach make it a great spot. It’s spacious, open, and there’s always plenty of room to stretch out without feeling crowded. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the Miami area — I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable beach day.

Checked out the clothing-optional section at Haulover Beach yesterday and really enjoyed it. The water was clear and green, and it gets deep fast—pretty much within 20 feet from shore. There were some waves, but nothing crazy in the afternoon. It’s perfect for splashing around or floating near the shore, but I wouldn’t swim out too far. The sand is soft and clean, and having freshwater showers nearby is a nice touch. Parking is across the street—just cross at the light and you’re there. The main walking path was closed, but a lot of people were still using the tunnel/bridge to get over. Weekend parking was about $12 with no time limit, which is fair. You can rent umbrellas if you need shade. The vibe was chill and respectful. Saw solo folks, couples, and small groups just doing their thing. It does get pretty crowded, but that’s kind of expected. Overall, great beach, good energy, and definitely worth checking out.

Haulover Beach ⛱️ was amazing. I want to North Miami to visit my brother who moved there 4yrs ago and Haulover Beach is gorgeous! I was spoiled because he is able to park in the physically challenged parking lot but even on the day we got out late to the beach and that parking was full, the walk accross was not all that bad. The bathroom and shower area was clean and smelled clean before I could even step all the way in. The beach is tranquila and not over crowded on the weekends. I will definitely be telling my brother to take me back to Haulover Beach when I go back to vist.

Beautiful stretch of beach to enjoy the sun with your buns out. Easy to locate with signs warning you far in advance that clothing is optional, clearly marked boundaries and there are chairs, shades, and food available for rental and purchase if you dknt feel like bringing your own. Tons of Beautiful little shells and the water is warm and relaxing for a swim or dip! We only experienced friendly and personable individuals on this beach. We did arrive early (10am) and stayed until around 1pm. Around 1 we noticed the amount of people on the beach did increase fairly substantially but not in a bad way. When we were finished we made our way to the showers, rinsed off, and enjoyed the rest of our afternoon exploring.
