(Very) bad: I went there on August '25. Reception promised breakfast is served starting 6:30, but in fact the dining hall opened ~10 to ~15 minutes later. There was no butter, I had to ask for it, so they sent the barista, so there was also no espresso either, until the barista returned (finally, successfully) from her mission. No omelets, just standard scrambled eggs. No orange juice - instead, a very dilute chemical yellow-colored solvent! This is not the service I expect from a hotel of this class and price (~1000 shekels/night). Also, the entire premise needs renovation. Good: Nice views of Jerusalem, proximity to the train station and some major sites, and the food is not contaminated, however disappointing and tasteless.
Barely arrived at the hotel, the room wasn’t ready. A quick stop at the restaurant while waiting 1 hour to get three dishes, the third one we had to take away because we didn’t have time to finish; it was thrown into a plastic container without a bag, and I won’t even mention the coffee that never arrived. Nice hotel but deplorable service.
In general it is a good hotel in a good location. We enjoyed an upgrade to the suite at one of the top floors with great view. Although they can do better with the food.
Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I stayed at Vert Jerusalem and accidentally left some of my belongings in the room (about 5000₪) after checkout. I called the hotel immediately and informed them, yet I was ignored for hours and kept getting different answers from different staff members. After insisting and going back to the hotel in person, they admitted that one of my items was found in the trash, which proves that the belongings were in the room. However, instead of taking responsibility, I was simply told: “It was thrown away.” The missing items were worth over ₪5000, and the way the situation was handled was unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. No proper investigation, no clear explanation, and no effort to return or compensate what was lost. I expected honesty, professionalism, and respect for guests. Unfortunately, I did not receive that here. If you care about your belongings and safety, think twice before staying in this hotel.
I stayed for only one night. Facility was fine, but the internet feels like 2006, and it’s 2026, period.
