Hotel Cologne Rudolfplatz

Amazing hotel in a great location, literally in the heart of Köln. The street cars (street trains) will take you anywhere you need to go and there is a station a hop, skip, and a jump away from the hotel. The lobby is a great meeting spot and you can get a drink from the bar as you're waiting for friends before you head out on the town. I highly recommend the Steinberger beer served on the hotel. It was refreshingly delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic. I highly recommend the Steinberger Hotel in Köln.

Wonderful hotel, with amazing service and great rooms. Really quality location - not the city center near the Dom, so it's not completely crazy outside, but near everything you will want from a visit to Koln. Good water pressure, with nice and hot water. The maids do an excellent job cleaning up each day. Only issue is that the wifi Internet is awful. Only place it works well is in the hotel bar area, where you can comfortably sit and work for hours and they will let you be.

Lovely hotel, large room, very comfortable bed and pillows. An amazing view from the bedroom window of the cathedral and nearby Christmas market. Brilliant shower, although our bathroom did have a tendency to flood slightly when using the shower and this was obviously a long standing issue due to visible damage at the bottom of the bathroom door. We were in a room that could be joint access via a door. This was obviously locked during the stay (as we didn't need it) however we could hear conversations of the guests in the next room. The location was absolutely fantastic and the main selling point of this hotel. Christmas markets on the door step and access to public transport. Huge public car park underneath hotel which has direct lift access into hotel. Overall lovely stay and will be coming back next time we are in Cologne

I stayed one night and got a good price because of black friday. I originally wanted to book the a room in the Ruby Ella , where i stayed a few months ago at my last visit in Cologne but got this room in Steigenberger for a good price and glad I've tried it. Excellent location, rooms are big (did i get an upgrade and was not told?), modern, clean , and peaceful. Had a good rest.

I like it all, the service, location, and breakfast during my 10 days Stay. It is easy to commute and travel around in cologne close to Christmas market, trum and train stations. The room is simple design and clean with window view. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices and drinks.
