About this place 101 Club

101 Club opened in 2021 at Via Panisperna 101 in the Monti neighbourhood, a short walk from the Colosseum and directly in the heart of Rome's most characterful rione. It has established itself quickly as the alternative to the more tourist-facing Gay Street bars: younger, more politically engaged, more internationally diverse. The décor is retro, the music eclectic (house to indie to pop depending on the night), and the ethos explicitly anti-discrimination — the club actively promotes inclusivity beyond sexual orientation. ARCO/Anddos membership card required. Open Sunday–Thursday 23:00–04:00, Friday–Saturday 23:00–05:00.
