Sheffield, United Kingdom
Sheffield Pride brings LGBTQ+ celebration to South Yorkshire's steel city, a place of dramatic hillside geography, world-class music venues, and a strong community-oriented culture. The event draws a lively crowd through the city centre, and Sheffield's compact, walkable queer scene makes it easy to keep the celebrations going into the evening. The city's remarkable music heritage — Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Human League — adds a creative energy to everything it hosts.
Travel Guide
Everything worth knowing before you go.
Sheffield has a small but functional LGBTQ+ scene in the West Street and Devonshire Street area. The city's large student population (four universities) generates a young, inclusive social environment. Sheffield Pride in August is a free outdoor event. The scene is compact — a few bars within walking distance of the city centre.
