The crowd is genuinely mixed across sexuality, race, and economic background in a way that South Beach venues rarely achieve. The building is a converted corner storefront with a simple, functional interior — no gimmicks, no themed concept, just a bar with good music and a welcoming attitude. DJs play indie, electronic, and hip-hop. The Downtown Miami location, while less glamorous than South Beach, is increasingly well-connected via the Metrorail and the Miami Trolley system. For gay visitors who have done the SoBe circuit and want to see a different Miami, The Corner provides it.
