Northern Pride in Newcastle upon Tyne is the biggest LGBTQ+ event in the northeast of England, drawing hundreds of thousands to the city's Town Moor each July for one of the UK's largest free-entry pride festivals. Newcastle's LGBTQ+ community is centred on the legendary Pink Triangle around the Bigg Market and Times Square, and pride week is when the city's famous friendliness reaches maximum wattage. The two-day festival has a brilliantly broad lineup of music and entertainment.
