SUMMARY:Queer Eyes of Compassion Meditation Group
DESCRIPTION:🌈 Queer Eyes of Compassion Affinity Sangha\\nThis gatherin
 g is a monthly meditation practice space for LGBTQIA+- queer\\, transgend
 er\\, lesbian\\, gay\\, intersex\\, gender non-conforming and similarly-i
 dentified siblings. Our gatherings are typically on the fourth Wednesdays
  of every month from 6:30-8:00 pm\\, with optional tea time to follow. We
  are located at 2180 S University Blvd\\, Denver\\, CO 80210 (University 
 Park United Methodist Church). To join our mailing list and learn about o

 out this form.\\nAs an affinity group of the Eyes of Compassion Sangha\\,
  we model our practice after the Plum Village tradition founded by Zen Ma
 ster Thich Nhat Hanh. We typically follow a similar format to the Eyes of
  Compassion and Wake Up Sangha’s including a 20 minute sitting meditati
 on\\, 10 minutes of walking meditation\\, a short reading\\, and a practi
 ce of group shares called deep listening/deep sharing. We will sometimes 
 veer from this framework to include other types of meditation\\, small gr
 oup sharing\\, or even individual reflection time if we feel it better su
 its the group. Our goal is that this group is accessible to folks who are
  new to meditation\\, this kind of practice\\, mindfulness\\, and spiritu
 al groups OR those who have not felt comfortable attending other such gat
