DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the album launch of Margate's own Thandii Feat
 uring Thandii\\, Norsicaa and Deejay Nye+ free South-East Asian bites and
  desserts for the early birds. 'Coco Okayo’ is a collaborative project 
 with the Philippines' most recorded drummer Jun Regalado\\, as well as Fi
 lipino diaspora artists and local Margate musicians.The album dances arou
 nd genres and influences\\, from OPM to soul\\, disco-funk and trip-hop\\
 , refusing to be categorised as any one thing and yet cohesive in its sou
 nd. Thandii likes to dub it MAR-NILA. “It’s a new genre coming from F
 ilipino diaspora artists paying tribute to the Manila Sound of the 70s\\,
 ” say Thandii\\, “but combining it with modern day post-punk-disco\\,
  beat-driven-art-pop music coming from the small seaside town of Margate�
