Join us in September 2026 for a 2-day gathering\\, bringing together que er scientists from across the UK to discuss common challenges\\, share sk ills and develop our approaches to creating queer-affirming change in our workplaces and communities.The queer community in and out of science has come a long way in recent decades. Many of us are out in our workplaces\ \, homes and communities. What are the challenges that we still face in 2 026? How do we keep hold of the progress we have made\\, and gain new gro und in light of the rising transphobia and queerphobia of the modern age? How do we move from the very useful pushes for visibility and community- building to more concrete action? How do we create queer affirming workpl aces\\, practices and cultures?And what is our specific role as queer sci entists\\, within the current political context?Join us for a 2-day gathe ring\\, to discuss these questions and many more\\, to find resilience\\, safety and solidarity with each other. Expect talks &\\; panels\\, ha nds-on workshops and facilitated discussions with a selection of invited speakers\\, and come and share with us the work you’ve been doing\\, by applying for a talk or poster.
