 -syncing\\, fairies\\, shapeshifting\\, mischief.\\nFABLE is a physical t
 heatre\\, dance\\, drag show that delves into Irish storytelling and quee
 r identities\\, finding the intersections of folklore\\, fairytales\\, ri
 tual\\, gender fluidity\\, drag and sexuality.\\nIn Irish folklore\\, the
  renowned fairies are magical and ethereal as seen as descendants of the 
 Tuatha De Danann\\, the supernatural gods of Ireland. But they are also t
 roublemakers\\, mischievous and gritty\\, and an activist symbol of Irela
 nd’s pre-colonical\\, pre-Christian/Catholic identity. FABLE draws Irel
 and’s fairytales to explore this juxtaposition of whimsy and tragic\\, 
 lightness and darkness\\, escapism and activism. We draw similarities bet
 ween these fairytales and queerness &#8211\\; how queer identities and cu
 lture live and thrive between these binaries and the acknowledgement of q
 ueer existence in indigenous storytelling\\, pre-colonial structures.\\nF
