  an upbringing surrounded by music\\, she had the opportunity to perform 
 at North Shore Music Theater and Scullers Jazz Club\\, and was featured w
 ith her sister on two albums recorded by Boston’s own Carol O’Shaughn
 essy.    Katie went on to study Musical Theatre at Syracuse University\\,
  then moved to New York and spent 13 years performing regionally in produ
 ctions like &lt\\;em&gt\\;Jesus Christ Superstar&lt\\;/em&gt\\; (Annas\\,
  ACT)\\, &lt\\;em&gt\\;Mamma Mia&lt\\;/em&gt\\; (ACT)\\, &lt\\;em&gt\\;Th
 e Wedding Singer&lt\\;/em&gt\\; (Holly\\, Gateway Playhouse) &lt\\;em&gt\
 \;The Rocky Horror Show&lt\\;/em&gt\\; (Janet\\, FIP)\\, and in &lt\\;em&
 gt\\;Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat&lt\\;/em&gt\\; as The N
 arrator\\, starring opposite American Idol’s David Archuleta (Tuacahn A
 mpitheater).    She also toured nationally and internationally\\, leading
  the 10th Anniversary Tour of &lt\\;em&gt\\;Rock of Ages&lt\\;/em&gt\\; a
 s Sherrie Christian\\, and the 20th Anniversary Tour of &lt\\;em&gt\\;REN
 T&lt\\;/em&gt\\; as Maureen Johnson. Katie is thrilled to be back in Bost
 on with her family and her love\\, jazz drumming sensation Antonio Cerfed
 a\\, to develop their upcoming project\\, “Little Bird”\\, and carry
