\nDizgo Album Tour\\nw/ Hot Like Mars\\n&#8212\\;\\nBorn from attic jam s
essions between childhood friends Andrew Pickel and Kevin Hinnefeld\\, Di
 zgo’s story began with two guitars\\, a tape recorder\\, and a dream &#
8211\\; literally. The band’s name came to Hinnefeld in a dream\\, befo
re their first gig\\, reflecting the cosmic\\, boundary-breaking sound th
ey’d soon deliver. Later joined by Jake Evatt on keys/vocals and Justin
Clark on drums\\, the Bloomington-based quartet has since evolved into o
ne of the country&#8217\\;s premiere touring acts.\\n \\nCritics have ca
lled Dizgo “one of the most operative names in the jam band scene” an
d “Indiana’s psychedelic powerhouse\\,” blending the adventurous sp
irit of jamtronica with the deep-pocket pulse of funk\\, the warmth of so
ul\\, explosive guitar\\, and the kaleidoscopic textures of psychedelic r
ock. Their live shows are immersive journeys &#8211\\; a dance party and
mind-trip rolled into one. Interweaving soulful vocals\\, analog synths\\
, and searing guitar complete with intricate compositions and extended im
provisation. The result is something both danceable and introspective: a
dance floor where heads and hearts move in equal measure.\\n \\nDizgo’
 s touring resume reads like a true music lover’s bucket list &#8211\\;
standout sets at Peach Music Festival\\, Summer Camp\\, Secret Dreams\\,
Domefest and Sonic Bloom\\, alongside club and amphitheater performances
supporting Goose\\, George Clinton &amp\\; Parliament Funkadelic\\, lespe
cial\\, Dogs in a Pile\\, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong\\, and more. Their 20
24 studio album “Melt” crystallized their ethos: when everything lock
s in\\, the band and the fans “melt into one collective unit\\,” chan
neling energy between themselves and the crowd in a feedback loop of groo
ve.\\n \\nFrom your local venue to the biggest festival stage\\, Dizgo c
reates a communal experience &#8211\\; one where genre is merely a sugges
tion\\, the band and the fans are a living organism\\, and every note is
a step further down the rabbit hole.&#8212\\;Hot Like Mars are Chicago’
s funkiest\\, most soulful rock band – a jam-funk quintet built on airt
ight grooves\\, fearless improvisation\\, and songs that stay with you lo
ng after the house lights come up. Fronted by vocalist/keyboardist A.P. (
Anthony Perry) alongside guitarists Pat Walsh and Frankie “Lightning”
Minella\\, bassist Lamontè Norwood\\, and drummer Wes Julien\\, the ban
d has carved out a fast-rising lane of their own\\, blending classic soul
and R&amp\\;B textures with modern jam-band firepower and a deeply colla
borative vocal sound.\\n\\nSince launching in late 2023\\, Hot Like Ma
rs have evolved from a buzzy hometown secret into a national touring act\
\, pairing online virality with a surging ticket footprint. Early Chicago
milestones – a packed residency that moved more than 1\\,000 tickets\\
, and supporting sold-out headlines at The Metro and Park West for Andy F
rasco and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong – laid the foundation for an ambiti
ous run of touring across the Midwest\\, Rockies\\, and East Coast. Their
2025 campaign included a breakout set at Northlands Music &amp\\; Arts F
 estival\\, a multi-date Colorado swing\\, and a first-ever East Coast run
capped by a sold-out night at Charleston’s Pour House\\, underscoring
their reputation as one of the most exciting young live bands in the jam
 and funk worlds.\\n	\\n		\\n#gap-806732566 {\\n  padding-top: 30px\\;\\n}
