SUMMARY:Climate Café
DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to live in a time of climate crisis? How do
es this affect our day to day life? Are there ways we can support ourselv
es and each other?\\nClimate Cafes are welcoming and supportive spaces to
gather to share our experiences of living in a time of environmental cri
sis through conversation and creative processes. It is for people who are
concerned about the state of the planet\\, who may feel grief and other
emotions\\, and who are looking for support within community. Everyone is
welcome to this conversation\\, and all experiences of how the changing
climate affects how we feel are valid.\\nThese are small group conversati
ons for up to 16 participants\\, facilitated each time by a different pra
ctitioner. People who attend do not have to talk\\; sitting and listening
is welcome.\\nRefreshments provided.\\n19th August: Our “Council of Al
l Beings” invites a more-than-human perspective on extreme climate cond
itions as experienced locally this summer. By looking through animal eyes
we draw out a greater sense of connection to the ground on which we stan
d\\, and find more creative ways of moving with our troubles.\\nhttps://w
