 otagonist*in und Regisseur selbstbewusst die Erfahrungen einer trans* Jug
 end in einer ländlichen Region reflektieren. Gerade weil ihre Beziehung 
 zueinander selbstreflexiver Teil des Films ist\\, wirkt Niñxs als gemein
 sames Empowerment-Projekt. Der Coming-of-Age-Film ist farbenfroh\\, versp
 ielt\\, politisch\\, witzig und beleuchtet die queere Lebensrealität mit

 r documentary footage\\, Karla’s social media videos and enacted\\, fan
 tastically exaggerated sequences into a light-hearted film in which prota
 gonist and director reflect candidly on the experiences of trans adolesce
 nts growing up in a rural region. Their relationship to one another\\, em
 bedded in the film narrative\\, turns Niñxs into a shared empowerment pr
 oject. This coming-of-age film is colourful\\, playful\\, political and f
 unny\\, portraying queer reality with intimate closeness. It emphasises t
 he importance of trans people representing their own trans realities on s
 creen and celebrates vitality and queer joy – made possible in Karla’
