SUMMARY:Demystifying the Editing Process
DESCRIPTION:This class is designed to demystify the editing process with 
 applicable tools for editing at each stage of your draft. From fiction to
  creative nonfiction\\, this workshop offers in-depth looks at different 
 editorial tools to use to help you refine your story and your language. I
 n this four-week workshop\\, we’ll review practical\\, applicable revis
 ion tools for each stage of the revision process. Then\\, we’ll practic
 e some of those editing tools on your work in class. Homework includes ex
 panded editing exercises\\, which we’ll discuss the following week.\\nP
 lease bring:\\n● A notebook and at least 3 different colored writing ut
 ensils\\n● For day 1: a printed first page of something you’re workin
 g on\\nEach writer will be sent home with an editing checklist and editin
 g goals for the coming weeks.\\nAccess Program\\nWe want our writing clas
 ses and seminars to be accessible to everyone\\, regardless of income and
  background. We understand that our tuition structure can present obstacl
 es for some people. Our Access Program offers writing class and seminar t
 uitions at a reduced rate. Most writing classes have at least one access
