 me join us for the first edition of Queer To Tell: Philadelphia at Strang
 elove's! The show feature 5 different LGBTQIA+ storytellers sharing diffe
 rent stories about what home means to them. The show will run about an ho
 ur and a half\\, with a 10 minute intermission.  This month's theme - "TH
 ERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME" Like Glinda the Good says at the end of The Wiz
 ard of Oz\\, "Click your heels together three times and say 'There's no p
 lace like home.'" Home can mean so many things - It can be a literal plac
 e: your childhood home\\, a home you built\\, an apartment you found and\
 \, over years of work\\, made into your own. It can be a bit more figurat
 ive: the arms of someone you love\\, the first time you got onstage and k
 new this is what you were meant to do\\, the coffee shop you found your c
 ommunity in. It can hold a great deal of happiness and joy\\, but can als
 o hold pain and sadness. Whatever it may be\\, it is something we all see
 k to find and build into a place we can depend on\\, find comfort\\, and 
 feel completely ourselves in. There truly is no place like it.  Seating b
 egins at 8. Show starts at 8:30.  ABOUT THE SERIES: Queer To Tell is a Ne
 w York-based storytelling movement bringing together LGBTQIA+ identifying
  artists\\, activists\\, and storytellers to create intimate\\, celebrato
 ry\\, live shows that platform the “real-life tales” of Queer people.
  Since launching in June 2023 as a 3-show series for Pride Month in New Y
 ork City\\, Queer To Tell has produced 35 shows across 4 cities (NYC\\, A
 ustin\\, Louisville\\, Pittsburgh)\\, featured 154 storytellers\\, as wel
 l as 13 Queer-owned businesses\\, and has welcomed over 1\\,300 audience 
 members across all shows. Each show has a different theme that allows for
  5-6 storytellers to share personal stories that often touch on the unive
 rsal experiences we as a community share (coming out stories\\, the icons
  who inspired us\\, the clothes we chose to adorn ourselves with\\, etc.)
 \\, the nuances of our different identities\\, and the experience of bein
 g human. It is our mission to create consistent\\, dependable cultural ex
 periences where LGBTQIA+ folks and allied communities can come together a
 nd reinforce the sense of a strong\\, national community united by a comm
