 e. The Greta & Tanel Ruben Quartet brings together father and daughter â€
 ” drummer Tanel Ruben and jazz violinist Greta Ruben — for a debut perf
 ormance years in the making. It is a project long carried in thought\\, f
 inally becoming reality. The concert weaves together original composition
 s from both artists\\, bridging generations and musical worlds. Expect to
  hear both Tanel's and Greta's music reimagined in a new light. Tanel Rub
 en is one of Estonia's most respected jazz drummers\\, composers\\, and e
 ducators. A driving force in Estonian jazz for over three decades\\, he h
 as recorded more than 60 albums and written over a hundred compositions f
 or a range of ensembles. Alongside an active performing career\\, he is a
  founding faculty member of the jazz department at the Estonian Academy o
 f Music and Theatre\\, where he has taught since 2000. Over his long care
 er he has collaborated with internationally acclaimed musicians including
  David Liebman\\, Avishai Cohen\\, Anders Jormin\\, Brian Melvin\\, Jaak 
 Sooäär\\, and Raimonds Pauls. Greta Ruben is a young jazz violinist\\, 
 singer\\, and composer whose music moves between jazz\\, pop\\, and class
 ical. Her sound is tender\\, gentle\\, and dreamlike. Beyond the violin\\
 , she is an active vocalist and songwriter\\, with a clear aim: to carve 
 out a distinctive place for the violin within Estonian jazz. Rooted in cl
 assical\\, folk\\, and jazz training\\, Greta has studied at MUBA and the
  Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre\\, with further studies at the Mal
 mö Academy of Music. She has previously released the singles "Jäise tuu
 le käes" and "Palve." This concert is part of Tallinn Fringe Festival 20
 26 \\, the city's month-long multi-genre celebration bringing independent
