DESCRIPTION:The Tūpuna Maunga Authority\\, in partnership with the Micha
 el King Writers' Centre\\, is offering two residencies for writers\\, cre
 atives\\, and researchers whose work engages with the Tūpuna Maunga of T
 āmaki Makaurau. Each residency includes a two-week stay at the historic 
 Signalman's House on Takarunga / Mt Victoria in Devonport\\, with a stipe
 nd paid at living wage. Dates are flexible between October 2026 and May 2
 027. Projects can be new or ongoing\\, across creative arts\\, literature
 \\, social sciences\\, and applied sciences. You must be a New Zealand ci
 tizen or permanent resident. Mana Whenua writers\\, TMA Research Scholars
 hip applicants\\, and Tūpuna Maunga project specialists are encouraged t
 o apply. Applications can be submitted in Te Reo Māori and/or English.\\
