SUMMARY:Subtle Bodies: Self-Reflection Through Aura Photography
DESCRIPTION:Once a season we will gather at the home of legendary lesbian
  photographer\\, Alice Austen\\, to sit for portraits made with the AuraC
 am6000\\, a specialized camera system that uses touch sensors to reveal r
 adiant aura fields around the body. The physical readings from someone’
 s hands produce an image that is entirely unique to each individual.\\nAs
  a group\\, we will discuss and interpret the colors present in our portr
 aits\\, and what meaning they may hold in our current lives. Each worksho
 p session will include time for self-reflective journaling and thoughtful
  writing prompts based on your latest aura portrait. Participants will ha
 ve the opportunity to create their own journals through a guided book-mak
 ing session during our first meeting. This workshop meets quarterly throu
