DESCRIPTION:This walking tour in the historic Allentown neighborhood focu
 ses on residential architecture of the mid-nineteenth century. Two of All
 entown&#8217\\;s most intriguing residential streets\\, North Pearl and F
 ranklin Streets\\, feature Victorian style homes largely designed in the 
 Italianate and French Second Empire styles. Located between Main Street a
 nd Delaware Avenue\\, these streets attracted professionals who wanted to
  combine comfortable suburban living with proximity to the boom of Buffal
 o&#8217\\;s commerce. Join us for this neighborhood walking tour to see e
 xcellent examples of these architectural styles and learn about the histo
 ry of the houses and individuals who called them home.\\nThis tour is app
 roximately ninety minutes in length and 1.1 miles in length. The tour me
 ets outside the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site at 641 Delaware Avenue
 \\, Buffalo\\, NY 14202. Meet by the Franklin Street (back) entrance of t
 he Site\\, by the parking lot. Parking is available in the TR Site&#8217
 \\;s parking lot accessible from Franklin Street or Delaware Avenue. Ple
 ase park close to the TR Site building in either the center section or al
 ong the south wall of the parking lot.\\nCheck in 10:45am\\n \\nTour Pro
 cedures &amp\\; Policies: \\nReservations are required for all tours\\, 
 including for Explorer Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations canno
 t be accommodated. Tours are generally limited to a maximum of 18 people 
 per group. \\nReservations close two hours before the tour&#8217\\;s sch
 eduled start time (for example\\, reservations close at 8am for a 10am t
