DESCRIPTION:Explore Buffalo and the Jewish Buffalo History Center partner
 ed to offer a tour of a unique element of Jewish Buffalo history: nearly 
 a dozen Jewish cemeteries along Pine Ridge Road. Visiting these cemeterie
 s offers visitors glimpses into three centuries of Buffalo&#8217\\;s Jewi
 sh community. You will also learn about the pursuit of national recogniti
 on of one of the cemeteries\\, and the Stones of Remembrance project.\\nT
 his tour shares many stories\\, including those of Jewish immigrants comi
 ng to Buffalo. The monuments found in these cemeteries memorialize many i
 ndividuals &#8211\\; some names are well-known far beyond Buffalo\\, whil
 e others have purely local roots. Yet\\, all were individuals with remark
 able lives.\\nAs the 90-minute tour progresses through the cemeteries\\, 
 some of the symbolism and design features found within the cemeteries &am
 p\\; both on individual monuments\\, as well as of the cemeteries themsel
 ves &amp\\; will be pointed out.\\nThis tour begins at the entrance of Ho
 ly Order of the Living Cemetery on Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard. (Use 58
 0 Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard\\, Buffalo\\, NY 14225 for GPS &#8211\\; 
 there are no street number markers). There is a small red brick building 
 on the west side of Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard where the tour will gat
 her. Parking is available along the side of Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard
 . This tour is approximately one mile in length.\\nThe Jewish Cemetery To
 ur is part of Explore Buffalo&#8217\\;s Community Cultural Project\\, pre
 sented by Uniland.\\n \\nTour Procedures &amp\\; Policies: \\nReservat
 ions are required for all tours\\, including for Explorer Pass members. 
 Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated. Tours are generally
  limited to a maximum of 18 people per group. \\nReservations close two 
 hours before the tour&#8217\\;s scheduled start time (for example\\, res
 ervations close at 8am for a 10am tour). \\nTo redeem an orange Explore
