We’\\;ll learn about th e people who created this community &\\; including one very famous Ame rican &\\; and see the homes\\, churches and public squares they left behind. Old Black Rock has one of the largest collections of pre-Civil Wa r homes in Buffalo\\, and many of the homes and churches on this tour are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Come see a lot of hi story in a very small area!\\nMeet at Market Square Park at the corner of Amherst &\\; Niagara Streets –\\; use the address 10 Amherst Str eet\\, Buffalo NY 14207 for GPS. The docent will be standing next to the large “\\;Black Rock”\\; sign on the corner. There is on-street parking available nearby on Amherst and Dearborn Streets. This tour is 9 0 minutes and one mile in length\\; there are no restrooms and no benches along this tour route. \\nCheck in 10:15am\\nTour Procedures &\\; Po licies: \\nReservations are required for all tours\\, including for Expl orer Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated.
