  only controlled mob activities in Western New York for 52 years\\, but w
 as also a national crime figure.  No part of Western New York was untouc
 hed by his criminal organization. \\nJoin us on this walking tour of dow
 ntown Buffalo to learn about the impact the mob had on Buffalo\\, from da
 ily life to major government building projects. Among the stories uncover
 ed on this tour are the Buffalo Zoo warehouse\\, the Barrel Murder of 190
 3\\, and the hit at Caruso&#8217\\;s Restaurant. Walking among some of th
 e downtown locations that mob members would have been familiar with as th
 ey plotted their next moves\\, you will understand the power the local mo
 b once wielded.\\nThis tour meets at Spot Coffee at 227 Delaware Avenue\\
 , at the corner of Chippewa Street. Metered street parking downtown is fr
 ee on weekends on Delaware Avenue and other nearby streets\\, or private 
 parking lots are available &amp\\; the closest is on Delaware Avenue\\, n
 ext to Spot Coffee. The nearest MetroRail station\\, Fountain Plaza\\, is
  three blocks away. \\n \\nTour Procedures &amp\\; Policies: \\nReserv
 ations are required for all tours\\, including for Explorer Pass members.
  Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated. Tours are general
 ly limited to a maximum of 15 people per group. \\nReservations close tw
