SUMMARY:Lines That Dress The Art of the Croquis
DESCRIPTION:What sparks a fashion designer&#8217\\;s imagination? How do 
 creative thinkers turn inspiration into bold\\, original designs? In this
  interactive workshop\\, participants will dive into the fundamentals of 
 fashion illustration using croquis (pronounced kroh-kee)\\, or quick sket
 ches drawn on figure templates. A range of templates will be available\\,
  featuring diverse body types and gender expressions. Working in the gall
 eries\\, participants will respond to the artwork around them through rap
 id sketching exercises\\, translating visual inspiration into wearable id
 eas. This dynamic approach encourages experimentation\\, creativity\\, an
 d personal expression. No experience is required. Open to high school and
  college students through adults\\, this workshop includes a sketchbook f
 or each participant to capture their ideas.\\nCatherine Lochtefeld Sirian
 ni is an experienced educator and fashion professional with a successful 
 background in curriculum development\\, creative problem-solving\\, and l
 eadership.  She is the Founder\\, President\\, and CEO of The Fashion &a
 mp\\; Design Workshop\\, as well as the Founder Director of The Nantucket
  Fashion Workshop. Before dedicating herself to workshops\\, Catherine sp
 ent over 20 years as a French Teacher and Director of Summer Times Fashio
 n Camp in Virginia\\, and taught for many years as a French teacher at Na
 rdin Academy. Additionally\\, she has experience in bilingual support and
  administrative coordination with the United Nations Development Programm
