DESCRIPTION:What started as a joke between friends on a beach in Tofino h
 as gradually snowballed into something real. In 2022\\, a loose pact was

  Squamish\\, British Columbia\\, Surf Hat have been crafting their own ve
 rsion of cold-water surf rock beach music written somewhere between the o
 cean and the mountains. Their sound floats somewhere between breezy shimm
 er of Allah-Las\\, the loose swagger of The Growlers\\, and the off-kilte
 r quirkiness of Talking Heads.\\nThe band has quickly built momentum the 
 old-fashioned way: writing constantly and taking their music on the road.

 d Blues released in November 2025\\, a record that expands their sound wi
