DESCRIPTION:In this community journaling in nature workshop\\, explore wa
 ys that gardens and stories can heal our minds and bodies. On a guided\\,
  meditative stroll amongst the grand and small sights\\, sounds and smell
 s of Duke Gardens\\, you will be invited to notice\\, feel and remember. 
 Dr. Zelda Lockhart\\, author\\, expressive arts therapist and Fulbright S
 pecialist\\, will offer prompts to journal\\, draw and reconnect to each 
 other and the natural ecology of the living and the dead. This workshop w
 ill offer activities that can be integrated as daily practice wherever yo
 u live and wherever you go\\, toward the goal of individual\\, ancestral 
 and community healing.\\nPresenter’s Bio: Dr. Zelda Lockhart is a curre
 nt Fulbright Specialist who holds a PhD in Expressive Arts Therapies. Her
  novels\\, keynotes and workshops focus on the power of story and nature 
 to connect us across boundaries constructed by colonialism and heal our g

 d with a hearing loop\\, which transmits sound directly to hearing aids a
