SUMMARY:Northland Beltline Corridor Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:This tour of Northland Avenue will introduce participants to 
 the history of this notable industrial district and the role of the Beltl
 ine railroad. The tour will place the Corridor within the context of Buff
 alo&#8217\\;s industrial growth and how its structures exemplify the evol
 ution of industrial architecture. Featured will be the development of Nia
 gara Machine &amp\\; Tool Works and its recent restoration and activation
  as the home of the Northland Workforce Training Center.\\nMeet at the No
 rthland Avenue Park at Northland &amp\\; Winchester Avenues\\, at 577 Nor
 thland Avenue. The tour is approximately ninety minutes in length and app
 roximately 0.7 miles of walking. \\n \\nTour Procedures &amp\\; Policie
 s: \\nReservations are required for all tours\\, including for Explorer 
 Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated. Tour
 s are generally limited to a maximum of 18 people per group. \\nReservat
 ions close two hours before the tour&#8217\\;s scheduled start time (for
  example\\, reservations close at 8am for a 10am tour). \\nTo redeem an 
 orange Explore Buffalo walking tour pass\\, please email explore@exploreb
 uffalo.org at least 24 hours in advance to reserve your tour. \\nThe Exp
 lore Buffalo docent for your tour will have a list of tour reservations f
 or their tour\\; you do not need to print or bring any tour confirmation.
  \\nAccessibility: This tour is fully accessible: the sidewalks along N
 orthland Avenue have all been recently replaced and are in excellent cond
