Developed along t he Elmwood Avenue streetcar line that opened in 1889\\, the Elmwood Villa ge is a highly intact residential neighborhood that showcases many beauti ful homes in the Queen Anne and other Victorian styles\\, which were popu lar at the time of the neighborhood’\\;s development. This tour incl udes parts of both the Elmwood Historic District West and the Elmwood His toric District East\\, which together create the largest historic distric t in Buffalo and one of the largest in the nation. Discover historic hous es\\, apartment buildings\\, businesses\\, and more on this guided outdoo r walking tour.\\nThe tour meets at the northwest corner of Elmwood and B ryant Streets\\, at 448 Elmwood Avenue. Street parking is available on El mwood Avenue and surrounding streets. This tour is approximately 90 minut es with approximately 1.6 miles of walking.\\n \\nTour Procedures &\\ ; Policies: \\nReservations are required for all tours\\, including for Explorer Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommoda ted.
