DESCRIPTION:The Latino Equality Alliance hosts a monthly support group wi
 th parents and caretakers of LGBTQ+ community members\\, on the topics of
  acceptance\\, comprehension\\, and pride. Through a parent to parent per
 spective lens\\, this group provides participants with a foundation of kn
 owledge\\, language\\, and empowerment by giving them tools to build heal
 thy bonds and relationships with their queer children and relatives. Addi
 tionally\\, it also centers on community building activities\\, increasin
 g access to resources\\, and creating awareness around mental health and
