Are y ou struggling with grieving the significant losses our community is conti nuing to experience? If so\\, you may be searching for a place where you can explore your grief and share with like-minded individuals.\\nJoin us for Southern Arizona Senior Pride’s six-session learning and support wo rkshop facilitated by Corinne Lightweaver and Beth Eisenberg. We will gri eve our losses together through readings\\, writing prompts\\, and discus sion. We will strengthen our emotional\\, creative\\, political\\, and sp iritual resources to build community and decide next steps to take indivi dually and collectively.\\nSpace is limited to 10 participants. Please pl an on attending all 6 sessions. We will provide digital copies of The Pol itical Grief Toolkit by Dr. Brad Carter and Jeremy Pierce. There is a sug gested sliding-scale donation of up to $40 (about $6 per weekly session) to help cover the cost of the downloadable Political Grief Toolkit each p articipant will receive\\, supplies\\, and room rental.\\nAbout the facil itators: \\;\\nCorinne Lightweaver (she/her) is a former LGBTQ journa list-activist who has both worked and volunteered in LGBTQ nonprofits. Sh e is excited about the potential for self-empowerment of workshop partici pants through gaining knowledge and creating community. She is an artist\ \, writer\\, sewist\\, and advocate for mental health.\\nBeth Eisenberg m oved to Tucson full time four years ago after several years of snow birdi ng from a very small town in Western\\, Massachusetts. She had lived ther e and worked as a Clinical Social Worker for over 40 years\\, primarily w ith groups. She loves living in Tucson\\, particularly because of the vib rancy of the LGBTQI+ community\\, and the lack of snow is also compelling !\\nSenior Pride is committed to offering all creative and healthy‑agin g programs and support services at no cost and relies on the generosity o f donors like you\\, at whatever level feels comfortable.
