  Lines Press\\, we’re hosting a trans poet open mic with surprise speci
 al guests.\\n“Let us keep loving one another in this swamp of contradic
 tions.”\\nIn celebration of the release of Splendor: Trans Poets by T
 wo Lines Press\\, we’re hosting a trans poet open mic at Hive Mind Book
 s in Bushwick. The mic is open exclusively to trans and nonbinary poets. 
 We’ll have some surprise special guests throughout the evening\\, and c
 ommunity readings from Splendor: Trans Poets.\\nSign up is at 6:30pm. Th
 e mic begins at 7:00pm. Our coffee counter will be open for the duration 
 of the event. Copies of Splendor: Trans Poets will be available. No pur
 chase is necessary to attend or participate. We just want to hear your wo
 rk.\\nIntroducing readers to five trans and nonbinary poets\\, Splendor i
 s an ode to queer bodies\\, with previously unpublished translations from
  Argentina\\, Denmark\\, Korea\\, Norway\\, and Quebec. From the irrevere
 nt and irresponsible to the quiet and meditative\\, these poems decentral
 ize our ideas of trans experience and poetics.\\nThis event is free and o
 pen to the public. Made possible thanks to the generosity and genius of T
 wo Lines Press.\\nHive Mind Books is a queer and trans bookstore and coff
 ee shop in Bushwick\\, Brooklyn. We are located off of the Knickerbocker 
 Ave M station and the Dekalb Ave L station. Our coffee and tea counter wi
