SUMMARY:Priority Hoarding: A Retrospectacle
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Bearded Ladies’ Hairport\\, an interactive i
 nstallation and performance series that embodies 16 years of accumulated 
 baggage from a queer cabaret company dedicated to art\\, care\\, mess\\, 
 and community. While you’re waiting for a flight that may never take of
 f\\, unpack your baggage and explore ours-you might recognize something f
 amiliar or discover something you never knew you were carrying. This tran
 s(formational) installation is designed for anyone who has ever lost a ba
 g\\, gotten stuck\\, or missed a (metaphoric) flight\\, prompting the que
 stion: how do you know it’s time to move on when you don’t know where
  you’re going?     The Hairport is an immersive experience filled with 
 costumes\\, cardboard props\\, and other ephemera from the Bearded Ladies
  Cabaret’s rich performance history. Visitors will navigate a sprawling
  multi-room space that resembles a fantastical\\, metaphorical “airport
 \\,” engaging with various components of the installation and encounter
 ing docents in guiding roles. The journey culminates in a “lounge” sp
 ace brimming with “Bearded baggage\\,” which also serves as the perfo
 rmance site for the Now Hoarding: In-Flight Entertainment live event seri
 es.     Expect to spend approximately 60-75 minutes exploring the entiret
 y of the Priority Hoarding installation\\, with groups of 6 entering at 1
 5-minute timed intervals. An optional Surrey bike ride is available but n
 ot required. This immersive experience is suitable for ages 13 and up\\, 
 featuring adult language\\, strobe/flashing lights\\, audience interactio
 n\\, and fog/smoke effects. Accessibility options are provided\\, includi
 ng a ramp to the performance space and an accessible restroom. For more d
