SUMMARY:Queerness In A Climate Changed World
DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to be Queer in a climate changed world? To
be Queer is to often be at odds with mainstream narratives of being. The
natural world reflects Queerness back to us—wildlife and its ecosystems
constantly challenge heteronormative and binary ideology imposed by huma
ns. As we witness environmental disasters and anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric incr
ease in parallel\\, how do we navigate the world around us? Where do we f
ind respite? How do we maintain hope as the world burns around us? Queern
ess In A Climate Changed World explores the unique experiences Queer peop
le face in the climate crisis through storytelling and guided community c
