 \nAbout The Book\\nThere is a land in the mountains that no man has found
 . A utopia with no king\\, no war\\, and no history of either. For two th
 ousand years\\, this society was built by women. Then three men\\, certai
 n it is theirs to discover\\, arrive. What they find in Herland forces th
 em to question all that they left behind.\\nFrom Charlotte Perkins Gilman
 \\, author of the cult classic &#8220\\;The Yellow Wallpaper\\,&#8221\\;
 Herland is an essential novel in the canon of feminist speculative litera
 ture and a provocative exploration of the borders between individuality a
 nd community\\, masculinity and femininity\\, dystopia and utopia. What m
 ight a different society look like? it asks. Who might it be for? Those q
 uestions are as urgent now as they were when it was first printed over a
 century ago\\, and Open Editions is bringing it back as the very first ti
 tle on their list.\\nWhat to Expect\\nUpon arrival\\, check in\\, grab a
 name tag\\, and settle in with a glass of wine and your new book. You don
