SUMMARY:Calgary Burns Club Singers
DESCRIPTION:We are called Singers because calling us a choir seems a bit
formal with its attendant expectation of trained singers with a high leve
l of discipline. We’re a bunch of older Scotsmen who like to sing and h
ave a lot of fun doing so.\\nThe program content was chosen to present a
selection of Scottish songs\\, including our salute to Robert Burns and t
he well-known Loch Lomond\\, a bit of humour with the Battle Hymn of Agin
g\\, and our Canadian content with the Banks of Newfoundland. And with Re
membrance Day just around the corner\\, we include Our Comrades Who Answe
r the Call\\, where we honour our military and remind us all of the ongoi
ng threats to our peaceful way of life.\\nhttps://www.gayout.com/usa-cana
