SUMMARY:Jazz Alert! the d&#8217\\;Linquint at Gulbar
DESCRIPTION:Don&#8217\\;t miss the d&#8217\\;Linquint at Gulbar!\\nThe d&
#8217\\;Linquint are a Kimberley\\, B.C.-based jazz trio consisting of lo
ngtime collaborators Bryan Reichert (guitar)\\, Tess Reichert (bass)\\, a
nd Chad Andriowski (drums). After relocating to a small mountain town in
the East Kootenays\\, they transformed their previous band\\, Tess and th
e d&#8217\\;Linquint\\, and embraced mountain adventures in Jazz.\\nAn op
portunity to preserve old recordings of Tess&#8217\\; family led to the c
reation of this project. Gathered around a reel-to-reel tape machine\\, t
hose new immigrants to Canada shared songs from their Ukrainian heritage.
Bryan was asked to preserve these recordings and discovered a charming c
 ollection of songs\\, phone conversations\\, and joyous mayhem.\\nThese r
ecordings inspired the new jazz compositions which have become Slav Suite
 s 1\\, the d&#8217\\;Linquint&#8217\\;s debut album.\\nBoth loosely inspi
red and directly observed\\, through music\\, we are together always. Sla
