 eople in Boston. Where they demonstrated and shared their pain in a very 
 public way\\, denouncing non-consensual infant genital surgeries and dema
 nding the medical industry take notice.\\nToday is to support ending sham
 e\\, secrecy\\, non-consensual genital and medically unnecessary surgerie
 s on intersex children. The day also provides an opportunity for reflecti
 on and political action. Between October 26 and November 8\\, intersex or
 ganizations bring attention to the challenge’s intersex individuals fac
 e. Culminating in the Intersex Day of Remembrance also known as Intersex 
 Solidarity Day on November 8th\\, the birthday of Herculine Barbin.\\nPle
