  New York LGBT Center. \\nIn 2027\\, ‘AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power�
 �� (ACT UP) turns 40. To mark four decades of radical HIV/AIDS activism\\
 , we are launching the ACT UP at 40: Celebrating Resistance and Demanding
  Healthcare for All — Calendar 2027\\, bringing together previously uns
 een photographs and footage from ACT UP chapters around the world alongsi
 de daily reminders of protest. Watch the London launch here.\\nWe will ha
 ve two panel conversations with activists\\, photographers and filmmakers
  from across the generations of the movement to ask: What can ACT UP teac
 h us now? \\nCalendars will be on sale in the US for the first time! \\
 n*\\n“Plague! We are in the middle of a fucking plague … what are we 
 gonna do about it?” Larry Kramer demanded at the New York LGBT+ Center 
 on March 10th 1987. Hundreds gathered that day to establish ACT UP — th
 e AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power: united in anger and committed to non-v
 iolent direct action to end the AIDS crisis. \\nForty years on\\, that u
 rgency still reverberates. As cuts to HIV and AIDS funding put millions o
 f lives at risk\\, the answer remains the same: ACT UP until there is hea
 lthcare for all.\\nThis calendar brings together ACT UP chapters — old\
 \, new and newly reactivated — from around the world. It celebrates the
  extraordinary diversity of our creative activism and the power of our in
 surrectionary imaginations: from mass die-ins in Trafalgar square and pha
 rmaceutical occupations to political funerals and ashes thrown over the W
 hite House gates.\\nACT UP has saved countless lives and shown what peopl
 e power can achieve. This calendar is an international kaleidoscope of th
 at history\\, creativity and resistance — and an invitation to pass the
  flame on. \\n*\\nThe Bureau of General Services—Queer Division is Man
 hattan’s only queer bookstore\\, located on the second floor of the LGB
