SUMMARY:Deadstart Short Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:[ TICKETS ][1] Come and celebrate the release of my short fil
m ‘Deadstart’ along with a\\ndiscussion with the artist at the end!\\
nDEAD START is a 10 min short acting as a trailer for a virtual novel\\ng
ame or web series I hope to produce about the struggle of Black British\\
nidentity. It explores insecurities around being a 2nd gen Jamaican and\\
nembracing with carnival culture amongst a gentrified Notting Hill. The\\
nidea is to raise awareness for the roots of west London and what Notting
\\nHill Carnival really means.\\nLUXE finds herself aimlessly wondering t
he streets until she happens\\nupon Dead Start estate\\, stuck in 70s Lon
don where she learns to find her\\nway again.\\nLooking forward to sharin
g my baby with you all! 2 years of concepts and\\ndeveloping to share wit
h animation that hopefully will evolve into\\nsomething bigger soon.\\nTh
ere will be some progress art displayed around the venue to look at\\nthe
making of the project.\\nColouring pages and games to play around the sp
 ace.\\n[1]: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/deadstart-short-film-screening-t
