DESCRIPTION:A relaxed social event to meet and chat with people who ident
 ify under the trans and gender non-conforming umbrella. ****Come down to 
 the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre for this monthly\\nTrans Social!****\\
 nWhether you’re a trans person new to London\\, newly out\\, or looking
  for\\nmore connections\\, this social is for everyone!\\nWe will play so
 me games\\, chat\\, chill\\, and hopefully make some crafts\\nwith new fr
 iends.\\nThe event will be neurodivergent friendly with a smaller quiet s
 pace\\navailable for those who need it.\\n****About the organisers****\\n
 ****Lori**** is a London-based writer and theatremaker\\, and a doctoral\
 \nresearcher at the University of London and Columbia University.\\nHer w
 ork is centred on communal movement practices\\, embodiment\\, and\\nauto
 nomy.\\nIn addition to her scholarly and artistic work\\, Lori is an orga
 niser and\\nadvocate with London Trans+ Pride with a focus on route plann
 ing and\\naccessibility.\\n****Gavin (he/him)**** is a queer trans man wh
 o has lived in London for\\n11 years.\\nHe works in the education sector 
 by day\\, but outside of work\\, he's\\npassionate about the outdoors\\, 
 making queer connections\\, and playing\\nrugby and netball with queer te
 ams in London. He spends a lot of time\\nhiking and walking in and around
  London\\, too.\\n**Lori will host April\\, May\\, June\\, July and Augus
 t socials.**\\n**Gavin will host September\\, October and November social
