SUMMARY:Push&#8217\\;n Pansies
DESCRIPTION:Push'n Pansies\\nIt’s just a fact of life.\\nOne day\\, we\
\, or a loved one\\, will have to make a difficult choice. A life and dea
th decision will arrive at our door\\, and we’ll be surprised. We’ll
be surprised because it will be dressed in a white coat\\, and it will ha
ve some papers and a pen in hand. And it will ask us to choose … should
we keep treating our life-threatening illness to gain precious days\\, w
eeks\\, and possibly months? Or are the “costs” to our bodies\\, mind
s and spirits too steep? Are we willing to keep paying the price that lif
e is asking us to pay … to stay?\\nIn this upcoming presentation and co
nversation with Karen Keeran\\, grief and end of life coach\\, doula and
educator with Golden Heart Transition\\, Karen will walk us through the k
ey elements we need to consider before making this heart-wrenching decisi
on. And together\\, we’ll explore several other important questions\\,
such as:\\nHow do I decide what matters most to me?\\nWhat questions shou
ld I ask my medical team to discern between the quantity and quality of l
ife I will have under different treatment options?\\nHow can palliative c
are &amp\\; ultimately hospice care support me on this journey\\nWe’ll
explore these and many other questions in this interactive and engaging h
our together! None of us have to make these tough decisions in a vacuum i
f we know what to ask and who we can reach out to for support.\\nSo\\, pl
ease don’t miss this opportunity to prepare and process through some of
the most important questions we’ll ever face in our lifetimes.\\nDates
