 nFor some South Asian LGBTQ+ men\\, being open about our sexuality\\, gen
 der\\nidentity or expression\\, and who we are can feel difficult because
  of\\nfamily\\, culture\\, religion\\, marriage expectations or fear of r
 ejection.\\n* What is it like to hide parts of ourselves?\\n^\\n* Where c
 an we feel safe enough to be ourselves?\\n^\\n* And how do we balance bei
 ng true to ourselves with family\\, cultural\\n  and religious expectatio
 ns?\\nJoin us for an open and supportive conversation. Whether you're out
 \\,\\npartly out or not out at all\\, you can share as much or as little 
 as you\\nlike.\\n****About South Asian HangOuts****\\nA twice monthly fri
 endly and welcoming online social and peer support\\ngroup for gay\\, bi 
 and trans men with South Asian heritage.\\nOur aim is to reduce isolation
  by creating a safe space to get to know\\neach other through shared live
 d experiences\\, topic discussions and\\ncreative activities.\\nThis onli
 ne space is an opportunity to build community by coming\\ntogether and co
 nnecting with one another in a safe and friendly\\nnon-judgmental space.\
 \n* We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month 6 -7.30pm\\n* Please tr
 y to arrive 5 minutes early. The Zoom room closes at 6.10pm\\n  (this is

 Bangladesh\\,\\nBhutan\\, India\\, Iran\\, Maldives\\, Nepal\\, Pakistan\

 m all South Asian faith\\nbackgrounds as well as those who don’t identi
 fy with any faith. One of\\nthe main aims of the groups is to reduce isol
