 e.\\nWHAT TO EXPECT:\\nAttendees participate in a sharing circle where pe
 ople discuss issues\\, ask questions\\, offer personal experiences\\, sug
 gest advice and solutions\\, etc. Attendees have different journeys and e
 xperiences\\, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial info
 rmation\\, tips\\, and advice. You may participate in the discussion\\, o
 r just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing.\\nEvery meeting is d
 ifferent and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will 
 feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss issue
 s. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness and to
  meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting
  depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost unive
 rsally feel very glad that they attended our support groups.\\nWhile our 
 support groups are for the LGBTQiA+ community and their loved ones and al
 lies\\, we would also like to encourage significant others of transgender
  and gender diverse loved ones to join our support groups.\\nNOTE: even t
 hough many of our support group meetings are held in churches\\, PFLAG Au
 stin is agnostic with respect to religion. We do not endorse nor discuss 
 religion in our support groups.\\nABOUT PFLAG AUSTIN: we are a chapter of
  a national non-profit organization that provides free\\, confidential su
