SUMMARY:Queer Lunch Break for Newly Arriving Queers
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in the queer community\\, but often find y
ourself at a loss when it comes to queer conversations? Or are you worrie
d you don’t know enough about the queer scene? Are you just starting to
wonder if you might be queer? Or do you already know\\, but aren’t sur
e what comes next? Have you just moved to Kassel and want to get your bea
rings in the local communities? Or have you lived here for a while but ha
ven’t yet dared to reach out to the queer community? Then our open hous
e hours for newcomers to the queer community are just for you. Together\\
, we make a special effort to ensure that newcomers feel welcome. After a
ll\\, we’ve all been newcomers to these communities at some point. (Weâ
€™d love for you to stop by on any other day\\, too. You’re always welc
ome. But with these set dates\\, there might be more newcomers during the
drop-in hours\\, and sometimes it’s easier to settle in together than
alone.)\\n*** \\nThe Queer Lunchtime is offered by our employees and is o
pen to everyone. Come by\\, get to know the Queer Center\\, and learn mor
e about queer groups and services in Kassel and North Hesse. You are welc
ome to eat here\\, take a nap\\, or meet up with friends. In the chill ro
om\\, you may relax on the sofas and doze or have a friendly chat. In our
kitchenette\\, you may heat up or cook your food\\, make tea or coffee\\
, or grab a cold drink from the refrigerator. We welcome donations for dr
inks. You can also bring your ideas for queer events\\, campaigns\\, or p
rojects and discuss them with our team. In the office\\, we can make plan
s\\, work on grant applications\\, and discuss what else you need to brin
g your ideas for the Queer Center to life. We also have Wi-Fi\\, a queer
 library\\, lots of games\\, a karaoke machine\\, a craft room\\, and much
more. We look forward to meeting you!\\nhttps://www.gayout.com/europe/ge
