SUMMARY:A Slow Temple For BIPOCs
DESCRIPTION:A space dedicated to slow-burning connection\\, honest int/ma
cy and ple/sure among bodies of culture.\\nAbout this Event\\nA Slow Temp
le For BIPOCs.\\nA space of honest and slow burning connection among BIPO
Cs.\\nMAKE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY.(for clarificatio
n: this is a BIPOC-exclusive space)\\nFormer attendees of previous editio
ns of A Slow Temple For BIPOCs say:\\n“I revel in the lingering feeling
of peace and belonging I have been searching for since moving to the cit
y.”\\n"It was such a special space you created with and for BIPOC bodie
s\\, and I have rarely felt so comfortable and accepted with my body in a
group."\\n"It has honestly set a very high standard for me\\, and I feel
inspired to explore more spaces like this in the future."\\n"It allowed
me to explore aspects of intimacy and touch that I had never really consi
dered before and to learn new things about myself and connection."\\nWhat
comes to my mind ...\\n... thinking of A Slow Temple For BIPOCs\\, is ge
ntle emergence\\, space to breathe\\, and the tenderness of being among o
ther BIPOC bodies. This space has brought together the ones who crave slo
wness in their ways of creating int/macy. The ones who yearn for softness
in a city that offers often rather the opposite.\\nIt is welcoming you a
s you are and honouring your individual pace. Feel invited to express wha
t wants to be expressed. To choose your level of engagement while being g
ently held and guided into slow burning connection.\\nThis is not a S* pa
rty. This is not a workshop. This is not a speed dating event. This space
has been created out of need and love for community. Out of desire and fr
ustration. A space dedicated to slowness and honest int/macy among BIPOCs
.\\nIn this city there’s a lack of spaces that center BIPOC bodies\\, h
earts and ple/sure. Spaces for us\\, who crave slowness\\, softness\\, la
ughter\\, and real\\, un-performative int/macy among BIPOCs are rare. Spa
 ces aloof from peak-experience s* positive parties\\, k/nk workshops\\, o
r other hedonistic gatherings. That’s why this Slow Temple came to life
.\\nA beginner- and queer-friendly guided and curated container designed
for you to explore slowness\\, sensuality\\, embodied consent and boundar
ies\\, intentional touch\\, your emotional world - all to create deeper c
onnections in a group space and ritual\\, where we invite human aliveness
  in all it forms: joy\\, softness\\, akwardness\\, sadness\\, exhaustion\
 \, care\\, closness\\, sillyness.\\nA cozy\\, consent-forward playground
for exploring authentic int/macy and ple/sure without pressure. A place t
 o breathe\\, blush\\, stretch\\, and maybe discover that ple/sure can be
 as simple as a deeper breath\\, an intentional pause\\, eye contact\\, a
giggle\\, or a really good hug.\\nA Slow Temple For BIPOCs\\, created by
 BIPOCs.\\nThis space is for adult\\, Black\\, Brown\\, Indigenous\\, Peop
le of Color\\, Sinti*zze & Rom*nja\\, Latinx and Bodies of Culture. Peopl
 e of all genders\\, bodies\\, sexualities\\, emotional states\\, spiritua
l paths and relationship styles are welcome. No prior experience is neede
d\\, just the willingness and readiness to meet others where they are at
and your curiosity.\\nN.B. for white passing people\\, (people who profit
from white privilege and have a lived experience of being treated as whi
te) consult me first. For those who are white passing and (who have) expe
rience(d) racism in their daily lives: your experience as a racialised bo
dy will be at the center and not your proximity to whiteness. If you are
unsure about where you stand\\, I warmly invite you to get in touch with
me to chat about it.\\nHow can I imagine a Temple?Imagine a cozy slumber
party\\, cuddle puddle\\, int/macy lab: A Temple is a guided space to exp
lore intimate connection ~ solo\\, partnered\\, and collective ~ through
the body\\, the senses\\, and a generous dose of curiosity. Where er/tic
energy might show up\\, without pressure and expectation\\; we’re letti
ng it find us while we’re busy being our weird\\, radiant\\, consent-sa
vvy selves. You are guided gently before you are invited to follow your c
uriosity and ple/sure in a free flow\\, where you might get in touch with
your edges and express your ‘Yes’ and ‘No’s’ (and everything i
n between).\\nYou will be guided through practices centering around embod
ied consent\\, intentional touch\\, body awareness. All to bring you in t
ouch with your body\\, your truth and inner world\\, to welcome you where
you are at and to bring you in connection with others. You are invited t
o express in ways that feel true to you ~ to move freely\\, to be in sile
nce and stillness\\, to (self) touch\\, to use your voice\\, to share\\,
to actively listen.\\nThe Flow of the NightArrival – “Landing Softlyâ
€ We start and remain slow and soft. You’ll have time to arrive and to
ground. There will be intros and agreements for the collective to unders
tand how to co-create it safer and yet juicy.\\nGuided Space – “Sensu
al Exploration (With Structure)” You are invited to solo\\, partnered a
nd group exercises\\, e.g. mindful touch\\, embodied consent\\, joint mov
ement\\, compassionate sharings: exercises to build trust and to bring yo
u into your body\\, to speak and express your truth from your body. Witho
ut expectation or pressure. You are at all times in the driver seat of yo
ur own experience and the level of your involvement. It is totally fine t
o step aside at anytime\\, be by yourself. Your No’s will be celebrated
.\\nOpen Space – “Choose Your Own Adventure. Follow Your Desire” Af
ter the guided part\\, the space opens. Maybe you want to cuddle. Maybe y
ou want to follow the cute encounter you just had before. Maybe you want
to offer someone a sensual massage. Maybe you lie dramatically on a pillo
w and gaze at the ceiling. Feel free to explore: Follow your desire\\, yo
 ur ple/sure\\, without pressure\\, performance\\, or goals.\\nClosing Cir
cle – “Reflect\\, Express Feels And Gently Close” We gather again\\
, share what stood out\\, wrapping up\\, integrate\\, and return to the w
orld a little more tender\\, a little more alive\\, and hopefully smellin
g faintly of liberation.\\nConsentIt is not only the s/xiest thing in the
space\\, it is the bare minimum: Enthusiastic ongoing embodied & informe
d Consent. We move slowly and with care. We ask first. We listen with our
whole bodies. We renegotiate. We normalize awkwardness\\, because someti
mes “uhh can I…?” is the s/xiest sentence in the room. Every ‘Yes
’ is sacred. Every ‘No’ is not only respected but celebrated. Every
‘Maybe’ is a “check in later.” You are always in the driver seat
of your own experience.\\nWhat else is important to knowGroup size: Expe
ct a group size between 15-25 people.\\nEnergy in the space: Welcoming a
co-creational space of desire\\, sensuality and potentially er/tic energy
(and it’s totally ok if that is not your vibe at that moment of time).
 \\nThere will be a self-regulation zone: A quiet corner for solo time\\,
snacks\\, or existential reflection.\\nOpting out: Totally okay. You can
say no at all times\\, step aside\\, nap in the corner\\, or stare into t
he void — we love that for you.\\nClothing: Optional. Fashion statement
s welcome\\, but no must. Bring your juicy lingerie\\, your witchy cloak
and/or your comfy sweater and decide what mood you are in in the moment.
Whatever makes you feel comfortable and like you. N/dity is just one of m
any ways to express comfort and sensuality. Panties stay on though.\\nAtm
osphere: Part Temple\\, part cuddle fort\\, part BIPOC family reunion whe
re deep emotions are welcome.\\nSupport: Expect emotional support and gro
 unded facilitation throughout.\\nSnacks: Provided\\, but don’t expect a
proper dinner. So please come well fed or bring yourself a small tupper
 snack.\\nLGBTQIA + neurodivergence + beginner friendly: As a queer\\, lig
ht-skinned Black\\, and neurodivergent human\\, I warmly welcome those of
similar heritage and lived experience to join the Temple.\\nFor those of
you who need slownessI see you. I am one of you. You don’t have to be
overly outgoing and expressive\\, extroverted\\, confident\\, loud or fli
rty to belong. Feeling shy\\, awkward\\, intimidated\\, nervous before an
d in these experiences is absolutely common. This space invites you where
you are at. This space moves slow and built on softness and slowness. We
ease in gently\\, setting clear agreements and moving through clearly-gu
ided practices. Partnering up is always a choice\\, never a demand. Move
 at your own rhythm. Take a pause\\, step out\\, giggle\\, tear up\\, or j
ust breathe. Every version of you belongs here.\\nPracticalitiesLocation:
  Daruma / Kizuna\\, near Grenzallee\\, Berlin-Neukölln (enter via Karl-M

ur Main Facilitator for the Temple\\nDENNIS (HE/THEY)\\nI am based in Ber
lin\\, creating spaces of int/macy and deliberate slowness. I accompany i
ndividuals and groups toward greater authenticity\\, self-acceptance\\, a
nd int/macy - with themselves and others. My work is guided by the princi
ples of slowness\\, curiosity\\, and presence\\, holding space (and hands
) in moments of shame\\, awkwardness\\, or self-doubt.\\nSome facts about
me: I am a certified SOMA Int/macy® practitioner. I am also trained in
Nuad Thai massage and Reiki. I weave these modalities together in spaces
of slowness\\, primarily in Berlin\\, through group workshops (up to 50 p
 articipants so far)\\, festivals (e.g.\\, STRETCH\\, Whole\\, The Palace\
 \, Waking Life)\\, and 1:1 accompaniment.\\nwww.returningtoslowness.com\\
