SUMMARY:Wednesday Night Games @ U&I Northbridge 😀
DESCRIPTION:Come along for a night of casual games and community at U&I C
afe.\\nThe event starts at 6:30 PM\\, the hosts will be there beforehand.
Our preference is for the outdoor area which you walk through to get to
the main counter inside. We are likely to be inside if the weather is unp
leasant.\\nTo find us look for identifiers such as green wristbands\\, a
SAGE sign and games. If you are not sure where the group is seated\\, you
can also message an event host\\, we try to check messages when we can.\
\nFeel free to bring your own games\\, however\\, keep in mind it may be
hard to teach anything too complicated. You are also welcome to just hang
out. Feel free to change seats to help game flow\\, or to be part of a d
ifferent game.\\nThis is usually a medium-level sensory event. It is in a
public space where food is served\\, and U&I is sometimes quite busy.\\n
Please be mindful that people at the event will have a range of communica
tion preferences\\, so remember to be kind and respectful. Help the hosts
out if you can\\, they take on a lot to run the event.\\nWe hope to see
you there to join in with the fun. 🙂\\n**Public transpor**t- U&I is 50
0m from Perth Busport and 650m from Perth Station.\\n**Parking-** street
parking in Northbridge is free after 6pm\\, or $5 in City of Perth Parkin
 g car parks.\\n**About SAGE**\\nSAGE is a social/support group run by aut
istic people for autistic people\\, you do not need a formal diagnosis to
join and support people are welcome.\\nSAGE values acceptance\\, respect
\\, community\\, and peer-to-peer validation. We believe in looking for s
imilarities\\, not differences\\, while valuing diversity. We aim to crea
te a safe\\, casual social space for people to relate to others\\, grow s
ocially and have some fun. 🙂\\nPeople are welcome from all ethnicities
\\, genders\\, and religions. SAGE welcomes and includes members from the
LGBTQIA community.\\nSAGE is entirely volunteer operated. If you would l
ike to support SAGE\\, donations can be made to the group’s bank accoun
