SUMMARY:Philly Soul Club
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\\, November 7\\, 2026\\n← Back to Artists\\nHi gay
!\\nWelcome to Queer Dance Philly\\, your cheat sheet for finding the nex
t move.\\nQueer Dance Philly pieces together queer DJs\\, artists\\, danc
e parties\\, and venues across Philadelphia\\nso you can spend less time
searching and more time dancing. It’s intended for discovery: everythin
g\\nfrom lesbian and POC-centered dance parties to gay club nights to tra
ns-centered raves. The wider\\nPhilly dance scene is included too\\, with
a stronger focus on venues that have a history of booking\\nqueer artist
s or holding events curated for the LGBTQ+ community.\\nFind the next mov
e\\nThe calendar includes events curated specifically for the queer commu
nity alongside other dance\\nnights of interest. Purple events highlight
queer events\\, while rainbow and trans flags indicate\\nqueer and trans
artists on the lineup.\\nTap an event for its flyer\\, lineup\\, location
\\, and more information. Browse dates by swiping\\, using\\nthe arrows\\
, or tapping the date in the upper-left corner.\\nDiscover more\\nPhilade
lphia’s dance music scene is wide and sprawling\\, with a host of queer
artists playing\\nsignificant roles in several different scenes. My hope
(and the reason this calendar exists) is\\nthat the calendar will be use
d to help you discover artists\\, parties\\, and sounds that you might\\n
otherwise miss.\\nThis is where the event archive comes into play.\\nTap
on Discover to browse artists\\,\\nparties\\,\\nvenues\\, and\\ncollectiv
 es - see past events\\, who’s playing\\nwith who\\, and where. The quee
r community thrives best through its ability to find strength in\\nconnec
tion\\, and Queer Dance Philly seeks to make those connections more visib
le.\\nMelt\\nQDP is also the force behind Melt\\,\\na sexy\\, sapphic dan
ce party built around the concepts of\\ngroove\\, glimmer\\, and grind. S
 ee\\n@melt.phl\\non Instagram for details.\\nBehind QDP\\nI started the Q
 ueer Dance Philly\\nInstagram account\\nin early 2025 solely so I could f
ind new dance parties without my main feed getting clogged up.\\nThe danc
e floor is a place where I always felt at home\\, and I wanted other peop
le to find that\\nsame sense of home as well. The idea caught on\\, I sta
rted sharing the events I found\\, and over\\ntime Queer Dance Philly was
born.\\nIt is very much a homegrown operation. I’m finding these event
s myself\\, talking to organizers\\,\\nand reaching out to artists direct
ly to make sure they’re okay with being identified as a queer\\nor tran
s artist. I do all the graphic design as well.\\nIt is a labor of love\\,
an act of service to the community that sustains me\\, and something I a
m\\nvery grateful to be able to contribute.\\nIf your event’s not liste
d but you think it’s a good fit for the calendar\\, the best way to hav
e it\\nincluded is to forward the Instagram event post to me\\; this way
I can share it on the day of the\\nevent. There’s a “Submit Event”\
\nform\\non the menu as well. For any other corrections or inquiries\\, s
hoot me an email at\\n[email protected].\\nSee you out there!\\nCallaia\\
 n×\\nMelt\\nMelt is a warm\\, sensual\\, sapphic and trans-forward club
night built\\naround groove\\, glimmer\\, and grind. Intimate without bei
ng slow and sexy\\nwithout being performative\\, it’s a space for givin
g yourself permission\\nto dance close\\, be bold\\, and see where the ni
 ght takes you.\\nExpect funky house basslines\\, glitchy electronica\\, a
